Taking Action to Support the Most Vulnerable in the New Year with IsraAID

Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, at least 684,000 people are in urgent need of assistance. IsraAID’s emergency response team is currently on the ground, distributing vital relief items and providing psychological first aid.

Like Haiti, vulnerable communities around the world are severely impacted by ongoing and new emergencies. Many of IsraAID’s beneficiaries have faced double or even triple crises, such as natural disasters, upon forced migration, and COVID-19.

We have the power to make a difference through tikkun olam. As we approach the High Holy Days, what better way to begin the new year than to take action together with IsraAID to support the most vulnerable.

Here’s how you can get involved:

1. Support IsraAID’s Haiti Earthquake Response and other urgent emergency missions by donating HERE.
2. Support Community in Crisis: Through the “Better Together” program, your congregation can adopt a specific IsraAID project (e.g. in support of Venezuelan Refugees, child safe spaces in Kenya or safe water in Guatemala). To help you raise awareness and funds, we will provide you with impact updates from the field and meaningful programming to engage your whole congregation. 3. Support our Global COVID-19 Response: IsraAID has been providing vital resources and services to support the most vulnerable throughout the pandemic, globally and here in the U.S. Learn more aboutIsraAID’s vaccination roll out in Eswatini and our other COVID-19-response programs.
