Tuition Information

ARS students’ families must be members of Temple Ohabei Shalom.*

Tuition for ARS in 2024-2025 is $1675 per student in grades K-7, for TOS members in good standing (this is the more expensive fee because we are past the early-bird registration deadline).

Families new to ARS in 2024-2025 will pay the rate of $1625 per student.

In grades 5 and 6, families also pay the B’nei Mitzvah Fee, which covers the cost of all of the special family programming, dedicated clergy time, as well as individualized tutoring in preparation for b’nei mitzvah. It is $850 in 5th grade and $850 in 6th grade.

(For TCEE graduates who are entering ARS Kindergarten, we have a special TCEE Graduate Rate of $925 for ARS tuition and $700 for synagogue membership!)

*For families new to ARS with children in grades K-3, there is an option of an ARS Trial Year which costs $2550 per student. There is no membership required for the Trial Year; this rate is only good for one year. (Please note that though the trial year welcomes families to join us for services and programs for Shabbat and most holidays, it does not include tickets to our High Holy Day services and programs, nor does it include clergy support for family lifecycle moments. If you anticipate wanting to join us for the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we recommend that you simply join Temple Ohabei Shalom as members. It’s more affordable that way too!)

For families interested in starting their students who are in 4th grade or older, the family must join TOS as members at the Year 4 rate.

We want ARS to work for everyone, so if you have any questions about the cost of tuition for your family, please reach out to Amy Deutsch, ARS Director, for a confidential conversation: adeutsch@ohabei.org.
