The Scapegoat: Biblical and Modern Meanings
Led by TOS Past President Larry Green

The term “Scapegoat” comes from Leviticus 16:10, which is part of the Yom Kippur liturgy.  The term means something very different today from its original meaning.  We will study the Biblical reference to the Scapegoat, its interpretation by Jewish commentators over the centuries, and how the meaning of the term has been changed in modern times.
