Membership

Our Approach

At Ohabei Shalom, we connect to the words of wisdom from Rabbi Hillel. We are an urban synagogue, with all the richness and diversity that Boston has to offer. We welcome Jews and those who seek connection to the Jewish Community from all walks and stages of life. Within these walls you will find a large and welcoming community comprised of various smaller and equally welcoming groups. Education

We have seen this light on the faces of schoolchildren running into our Religious School to participate in our innovative “Shul-In” programs, B’nei Mitzvah and Confirmation candidates finding connections to their own lives in sacred texts, families sharing moments of learning, adults entranced by new insights from our tradition.  Learn more about our programs:
