Donations
It takes donations of all types to help make Ohabei Shalom the vibrant community it is today. We welcome donations of time, knowledge as well as monetary contributions.
Below are some of the ways you can help enhance meaningful worship, learning opportunities and special programs here at Ohabei Shalom.
The Circle of Giving
The Circle of Giving is Temple Ohabei Shalom Annual Appeal. Circle of Giving contributions provide for consistency in our fundraising and gives everyone the opportunity to join in supporting our community above and beyond the annual membership commitment. Gifts from non-members are also welcome.
The Project For Our Future
The Project For Our Future (PFOF) accomplishes two major goals: first, it will add an elevator to our school and chapel building, making all four floors fully accessible. Second, it will renovate one floor of our school building to create the Diane K. Trust Center for Early Education. The project in its entirety will attract new members, young families and allow existing members to use the building to its full capacity.
General Fund
The General Fund helps support the operations of the synagogue....from programming to paper, salaries to Shabbat dinners, donations to this fund enable the continued success of Temple Ohabei Shalom.
Music & Worship Fund
Music has always been an integral part of our history. Donations to this fund are used to bring the choir to High Holiday services, Jewish acapella groups to Shabbat Rishon and help send our youth choir to zimriah.
The Fund For Life Long Learning
Support learning at all ages by contributing to this fund which assists members in need of financial assistance in order to participate in educational opportunities.
Building Fund
It may not have a glamorous title, but our building allows us to pray, celebrate, learn and make connections within our community. Our historic building requires a great deal of upkeep, repairs and updates in order to keep it functioning and accessible to all. We welcome donations to assist in beautifying our building, worship spaces, the socials halls and classrooms.
Flower & Kiddush Sponsorships
Anyone can sponsor an Kiddush (reception after services) or flowers for our bimah for Shabbat Services. This is a wonderful opportunity to honor a family member or friend or to commemorate the anniversary of a loved one that has passed.
